Mrs. Gwinn's Book Nook

Hello Students,

This is my personal webpage and is not affiliated with my school.  Please click on the appropriate links that are on the left to enjoy and enhance your research in various areas.  I look forward to working with all of you this year.  As we add new webpages to this site depending on what we are studying at the time, you will see them to the left of this message.
Here is a little about myself.  I was an elementary teacher for 12 years working as a kindergarten teacher all the way up to fourth grade.  I taught in a regular classroom, was a remedial reading teacher, and a gifted and talented teacher.  Then, I took time off to raise my family.  After I came back to the education arena, I was a media specialist for 12 years in Union County, Charlotte Christian, Indian Trail and now I'm here at Laura Ingalls Wilder Elementary.  I have a BA in Elementary Education from Morehead State University, and two MS degrees.  My first Masters degree is in Instructional Technology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.  My second Masters Degree is in Library Science from the University of North Carolina @ Greensboro.  I absolutely love reading and technology, so this is the best job around!!!
